Vongo, Movielink and CinemaNow are three great providers of downloadable DVD movies. To help you choose between them, here’s a quick comparison:
Vongo is still in beta and has a very big memory leak but they have a lot of content for you to choose from if you are willing to do your own searching as it is not filtered very well. There is an editorial service that provides user ratings, graphics, trailers and filters. In order to use Vongo you will have to allow them to automatically install an update manager. This service only costs $10 per month and allows you to access hundreds of movies and pay per view options. This web site as it is definitely working to improve upon itself.
Movielink operates quite smoothly and offers superb video quality. You can rent the movie for 30 days but you will have to view it within 24 hours of downloading it via their satellite program. This manager is quite useful as it will automatically resume any broken downloads and remove any expired movies. Downloading this program is not a big deal as it will automatically figure out which area of your computer has the necessary 600-1000MB for this program. You can play your movie in either RealPlayer or Windows Media Player. The prices are not bad either, but there is no shopping cart available.
CinemaNow is the leading web site for downloading movies. They have more than 4,000 titles available for you to rent in such a way that is both quick and convenient. You will pay a lot less money for these movies too, as the cost is only between $1.99 and $3.99 per rental. There are also discounts available in the Showcase Section. Once you begin watching your movie you will have 48 hours to finish watching it on your PC, laptop or television. This is because they have a download-to-burn service, which allows you to burn the movies you download and watch them on your television’s DVD player.
These downloads are Microsoft compatible, but they do work best with Media Play. There are also High Definition (HD) downloads available as well. Unfortunately, none of these web sites support Macintosh or any browser other than Internet Explorer. iTunes has been very popular ever since it first began, making over 1 million dollars the first week it was open. You may want to give this web site a try because of how many titles they actually do have.
Amazon Unbox has received a lot of bad feedback because of their license agreements being so unfriendly to its users. However, when compared with all of the other movie download sites, Unbox actually has the best meta-data about its movies and television shows. You will be able to read about the item’s plot, release and consumer ratings. You will also be able to see some of the item’s productions stills before you decide whether or not to download it.
Unfortunately, if you are using a Mac, you can only use iTunes. However, Windows users would do well to either go with Movie Link’s deep catalog or Guba’s great pricing.

Don’t worry though, I’m going to lay out the answer to both of those problems in a few simple steps below!
The first thing you will need to download movies from the DVDs to your Ipod is some decent DVD ripping software. This is software that takes the image of the movie from the disc and allows you to save it to your computer. Once it’s on there, you can put it where you want. When you’ve made your decision and gotten yourself a DVD ripper, you simply need to follow their instructions and rip whatever movie you want on your computer. Sometimes these software programs will give things odd names, so be sure to save it somewhere easy to remember and with an obvious name.

There are a ton of reasons why you should want to block porn and other websites from your children. The main reason is to protect your children. And to protect your children use some sort of internet parental controls.
You have a lot of different software to chose from but you must make sure you chose a software that will block everything. But some of those softwares take away a child favorite website like MySpace.
You need software where you can manually change the internet parental controls. A software that lets you add sites to a list of sites that you wish to block. Some of the free software’s out there does not update their system regularly letting new porn sites sneak through there filtering.
Good softwares well come with a database of xxx rated sites and will automatically update its filter system everyday so your children can be protected by the thousands of porn sites that get created daily. One thing that a lot of parents don’t know about is that a lot of free internet parental controls don’t have the power to protect you from p2p software like Limewire and Kazaa. Yes those are the same sites where you kids gets it music from. The saddest thing about these p2p software’s that it is as easy as typing in the word xxx and clicking on the video tab for your kids to be exposed to adult rated material.
One of the worst thing about these P2p software’s is that they are full of viruses. Kids and teens do not realize that every time they download a x-rated video or picture they can be downloading a virus that could destroy your computer. I have fell victim with this before with my son and it cost me over 400 dollars to get my computer back working properly.
I now do not suffer from those problems of having to worry about my son accesses adult rated websites anymore because I now have installed a software that blocks any and every X-rated site known to the internet. So help me fight this war of keeping our internet websites safe for our kids.
