No one thought twice about Frank Lucas, the chauffeur but when the boss dies, Lucas sees his opportunity to take over. Lucas takes the next few months to strengthen his position as the best drug dealer in Harlem when he produces a product that ends up being both purer and less expensive than anyone else can manage. Washington’s inventiveness was matched only by his audacity. Strange as it may seem to some though despite his incredible boldness and brutality he was a very dedicated family man. Though Denzel’s character was very brutal and killed or beat people up he was very dedicated to his family and protecting them never harming them. The character did Zell plays named Lucas could be a very violent drug lord perpetrating nasty atrocities on many of his enemies. However, when it came to his family he never got violent nor did he ever beat them up and love them all the way until his death. Lukas, an innovative businessman, makes an attempt at achieving some degree of legitimacy by trying to become a big civil supporter in Manhatten, while Ritchie Roberts, a street wise outcast cop, played by Russell Crowe, picks up on a large shift in the drug world’s leadership. Roberts, one of only a few honest detectives in a corrupt system, is about to investigate the case, although in the meanwhile, Josh Brolin, the crooked detective, makes an all out effort to undermine his counterpart. Using his powers of observation and running alibis on the usual Mafia connected suspects, Roberts now has suspicions that an unknown black power player has taken control of the local drug trade. Two men of opposing sides of the law, Roberts and Lucas share a strict code of ethics which separates them from some of their more opportunistic colleagues The two men are locked as fate pulls in them and confrontation between them becomes unavoidable, slowly each one realizes that only one shall emerge from this victoriously. This is quite a tale spun by Ridley’s Scott that wraps up very nicely in the end. Ridley Scott did a tremendous job with this story and it was one that definitely deserved to be told. Ridley Scott did an outstanding job directing this compelling story of the first black man to be a dominant gangster on the American landscape. Denzel has quite a range as an actor and has played many bad guys before. Denzel has done quite well in all his various roles including this one. He got at a new piece of himself because I have never seen nor heard of him playing a bad guy drug dealer. But it was new and exciting to see his career choices and his continued willingness to stretch himself with his different roles. Overall, this movie has lots of good actors including Denzel Washington, Russell Crowe, Josh Brolin, and many more that you have probably seen and would recognize if he saw them again but maybe don’t know their names. I don’t want to see anyone else get scammed by false advertising websites claiming to have millions of movies, music and video game downloads. When it comes down to it, you don’t really know what you are getting until you try. I have tried, made mistakes, but have also gained valuable knowledge about the valid websites out there. Below are some findings and tips to help guide you on your own search:
Stick to organic search results. When you type in a search phrase such as “download movies online” into Google you will notice dozens of paid links to your right. While some may be reputable companies, many are just landing pages referring media websites to make a big commission. These websites often offer very little new movie content, but make their money off the unknowing public.
Watch out for extremely low prices: Websites offing a $9. 99 one time fee for unlimited movie, music and video game downloads is clearly not giving you quality downloads. Sure it’s cheap, but you get what you pay for. Yes, they have thousands of movies, but who wants to watch no name movies from the 1980s?
Look for reputable websites. By that I mean media website that are not heavy on flash content, not just one large image and has a limited amount of banners. Be weary of pop ups from other websites that are trying to advertise cheap movie downloads. Often times it will lead you to an unrelated website or a cheap vendor.
