When you begin to look around for music online, then remember to take your time to look for a good site, where you can download music downloads, whichever it is for a type of file you are looking for (MP3, MP4 or WMA).
There are plenty good download sites, and you will find that there will be many of those sites who matches your criteria. But before you sign up, be sure to check out what others say about the program. As an example, you can read some customer reviews, and if you do that be sure to compare the reviews, so that you only read the positive, or negative.
It is, of course, also of great importance that the site, is able to provide you with high quality downloads; and maybe the most important thing: you have to look at the sites virus protection. The site should have virus and Spam protection as a major priority. So make sure that you read about the first, and read carefully; they all provide different types of services
When you have done all this and begin to think about signing up to the site; don’t forget the payment. All around the Internet the download sites has a different payment form, and some accept other payment methods than others (PayPal, Mastercard, American Express or Check), but back to the payment form.
Some download sites are free, and that sounds fine enough, except that it is very hard to find a free site where it is legal to download from. Also most of the free sites are full of viruses and/or spyware, because the free sites almost never care about your safety. Many free sites are also used for advertising only, by some smart people who can get some free publicity. Another thing is that it can be hard to find the music you want, if it is a little special; and many files are damaged too.
Other sites have a system where you will have to pay for each song or movie that you download, and what you will have to pay is approximately 0.20$ per song, where movies cost more. You can then buy credit and insert them at your account.
And of course we have the system where you pay once and the you will have an unlimited access to the site and you are free to download whatever you want. For example you can pay around 20$ for a year access, or around 35-40$ for a lifetime use of music.
There are a lot of advantages with music online, and music downloads. First of all, you will find out that it is much cheaper to download your music rather than buying a whole CD. Instead of paying for what it cost to put the songs on a CD, you pay for the song only. And instead of having all the songs you can get the ones you like the most.
When the song has been downloaded, it will remain on your computer, and if you want it, you can rip it to a CD or any Mp3 or Mp4 device as iPod. You can also just leave it on your computer and enjoyed the music TV-show or movie in that way.

Before you use one of those free music download programs you may want to compare them with the legal file-sharing programs to help you make a decision.
There are many free music download software programs available to download free music online. It seems like there are new “Ares download, free music download web sites” entering the Web everyday.
Getting a free KaZaA music download is all I here my students talk about in class. Asking each other where to download free music or download and burn free music. They talk about sites to find Inuyasha music downloads, Final Fantasy music downloads, even cell phone music downloads.
Are free music download programs…FREE?
It all depends on what you want. Some offer Pro versions which have no ads or pop-ups. But do be cautious with most of the free music download software, they will have adware, spyware and pop-ups.
KaZaA music download-KaZa Lite music download
Limewire music download
Ares music download
Shareaza music download
WinMX music download
Imesh music download
Free Grokster Download
Poisoned
These programs are free… but they have some problems.
Basically, the difference between free file-sharing programs and file-sharing programs that you pay for is as follows. With the pay programs such as Mp3 Advance, MP3 Music Subscription and DownloadShield, you get technical support, no pop ups, no adware or spyware, most offer privacy protection, and your money back if you’re not happy with the program.
With the totally free music download programs, unless you buy their Pro version, which some of them are more expensive than the pay programs mentioned above, you’re pretty much on your own along with the ads and pop ups and don’t forget the spyware. It’s your choice.

Certainly enjoying movies at a theater is a unique experience. From the towering screens to the Dolby Digital DTS sound systems, the wow factor of a theater can’t be matched. However, due to convenience and affordability, enjoying movies at home whether on a PC or a big screen plasma display is the more typical scenario for the majority of movie fans. The options for obtaining and viewing movies at home have certainly expanded in the past decade with the introduction of online movie rental and movie download services in addition to the more traditional offerings provided by local video stores as well as live and pay-per-view television.
For film fans on a budget, enjoying more movie viewing per dollar justifies a quick look at some of the options.
Hands down, enjoying movies on live television, whether cable, broadcast, or satellite TV, is the most economical option. The selection viewers have to choose from is significantly limited by the programming schedule but there is no cost beyond the typical monthly fee for any premium packages. Another cost free method of enjoying movies is as simple as a visit to the local library. Public libraries loan out not only books and CDs but movies on VHS and DVD as well. Although the selection is somewhat limited, the price is right.
Coming in second, online movie rental has the potential to provide more movie entertainment for the dollar than other paid services. As an example, Netflix offers numerous plans but their most popular plan allows users to have up to 3 movies out at a given time for $17.99 per month. If a typical user views only 6 movies in a given month this would average out to $2.99 per movie. The price per movie could potentially be less for those who view more movies throughout the month; for instance the price per movie would drop to $1.99 if 9 movies were watched throughout the month. Making the value of online movie rental services even greater is the huge selection offered; in the case of Netflix, users can select from over 75,000 titles.
Movie download services and renting at the local video store are probably equivalent in pricing. Movielink rental pricing for instance starts at $1.99 and goes upward to $4.99 while many video stores have rentals from $2 to $5. The selection of movies is currently somewhat greater at local video stores; perhaps 10,000 to 15,000 titles to choose from versus fewer than 10,000 with most legal movie download services. However, the future may hold a different picture as online movie download services are providing larger libraries over time as they acquire more films.
A bit more expensive are the pay-per-view movies made available by most cable and satellite TV providers. With costs averaging around $3.99 to $4.99 their pricing is reasonable but can become significantly more costly than other services if more than one or two movies are viewed over the course of a month. In addition, the pay-per-view offerings are often restricted to one or two dozen movies at any given time based on the programming schedule for a given month.
Luckily whether considering movie downloads, online movie rental services, use of the local video store, or pay-per-view, movie fans are able to enjoy the services risk free. Movie download services, video stores, and pay-per-view are charged on a per movie basis with no ongoing commitment to purchase more movies. Likewise, although online movie rental programs charge a monthly fee, services such as Netflix require no commitment to continue the program and no cancellation fees to discontinue.
From live television and pay-per-view to movie downloads, online movie rental, and video stores, movie lovers should be able to discover a movie service that offers the films they love at a price they can afford. Which option best meets their budget will depend on the number of films they tend to view per month and how wide of a selection they need to find the entertainment they want.

For some Internet sites that provides public domain videos, before it can encouraged the public audience to do whatever they want with the following videos inside their sites, they first ask a legitimate license from the Creative Commons PD – this is the only responsible association that gives license relating to films from online sites. Though the Creative Commons PD license refers to the domain status of the films, this is not necessarily required to the every element that a film may contain though.
After asking for a legitimate license then you are free to do whatever legal or not purpose you may wish to do with the following PD videos that you pertain to acquire. When you’re thinking to download movie, legal considerations should not only be your concern. Piracy costs the movie industries billions of dollars of lost revenues because of illegal distribution. In your end, you can help the movie industry by downloading a movie only from a reputed website. Aside from that you should also consider the website that you are downloading from.
There are sites that even offer a free download movie. Law considerations aside, you have to watch out for this kind of websites. They may have a good list of movies and you don’t even have to give out any information to these websites. However, the movies that you download may have something hidden. The hidden item could be a spyware or a virus. These two things when unleashed in your computer will monitor your internet activity and will steal the most private information from you. You won’t even know what hit you.
When you go to a reputable website to download a movie, the legal considerations are already cleared out. You have so many websites that are legal but which one should you choose? First is to take a look at their after sales support. Most of the download movie legal sites can just be contacted via e-mail. That will be convenient but it doesn’t put any sense of urgency for the download sites. As much as possible; stay away from this type of company. They may not rip you off your money in the start, but they won’t help you if something goes wrong to your download. Good companies can still get away with it since they will have the choice when to answer your concern. Sign up for a download movie legal site that has a toll free number and available 24/7. Sometimes, these customer service agents may not help you in all your concerns but the good thing about download movie legal sites with customer service is they can tell you what you have done wrong and what you should do.
Last but not the least is the format. You may be paying something really expensive for something really small. There are websites that sells movies for a too expensive one time fee. These sites are usually not updated with the type of materials they offer. Their old movies might not be quite compatible to your television when you burn them. It’s like having a file in your DVD and it can only be used in another computer. On the other hand, there are websites that you can pay US$2.50 per month, or US$35 for life with good service, quality movies and many format options to burn your DVD.
When you’re signing up to a website, make sure that the format will fit to your preference, and the resolution is correct so that you can watch them clearly.

Getting free iPhone downloads is something that ever greater numbers of people are going to be trying to do. In this article, I will show you how to make the most of your iPhone, without breaking the bank, or taking unnecessary risks.
Following on from the phenomenal success of the Apple iPod, Apple has now released the iPhone, and early signs suggest that it is going to be a runaway success. There are already rumors that the supply of the iPhone is going to be inadequate to meet the demand.
The iPhone is a very versatile piece of hardware. With the capability it has to handle video, music files, games, and the internet, it is going to be one of the most sought after products in the coming months. As with the iPod, you can transfer your CD and DVD music and films to your iPhone, and that is almost certainly something that you will want to do. The greatest asset, though, is the ability to download music, games and films from the internet, saving yourself a lot of money in the process.
The most obvious place to pick up free iPhone downloads is a P2P site. These have been used for years by people wanting to avoid paying for their entertainment. This is very definitely not recommended. These sites are breaking the law, and you will be too if you take advantage of them. This could even be for nothing, as a lot of the files downloaded from these sites are not what they are supposed to be. It could get a lot worse than this, as these sites are notorious for spreading spyware and viruses. Your computer could easily catch something nasty, and your security could be compromised.
There is a very good alternative to these illegal free P2P sites. They are not completely expense free, but they only need a one off payment of under $50 to join. This fee keeps the site in business, and lets them update their archives with the latest material. For this one time charge, you can download an unlimited number of files, comprising games, movies, and music downloads. If you use a lot of these, you will find you are making huge savings compared to the price of buying CDs and DVDs on a regular basis. The downloads will be safe and quick, and the database of files available will be updated regularly, so you can keep adding to your collection. These pay-once sites are the best source of free iPhone downloads.

Films are an audio visual version, yet most film makers focus solely on the visual part. They tend to forget that without a good audio quality the film would totally loose its impact!
None of your scenes would create that horror or terror or tickle without the right background score! Some of you might think that it can happen just like that – like a magic – but, the news is that nothing in film making happens like a magic!
For a good audio impact what you need is a trained audiophile – a professional who loves to handle the boom of several wanted and unwanted noises with a microphone all through the day.
You must know that almost all the cameras have an in-built mic that records all the dialogues delivered and the other sounds during the shoot but this mic is one of a very poor quality. So, ultimately every film maker lands up working with some external mics.
Here are a few tips to understand your external mics better and enhance the audio quality of your film:
1. Look for a professional in the field who would guide you through all the technical requisites.
2. In case you are planning a lower budget, try working with a friend who is a fresher in the field. He might be inexperienced. But a well trained young talent works wonders at times, better than the far experienced ones.
3. Invest in at least 2 good quality remote mics that must sync in with your camera. You make your actors wear these remote mics on their body. In order to make them work well, you must place them correctly.
4. Placing the remote mic is rather tricky, but once you know the right way, it is just another daily job for you. You must use your fist with the thumb extended up & pinkie extended down just like the ol’ hang’s loose hand sign. Now, place your thumb under the actor’s chin. Now where your extended pinkie ends, is where you place the mic. It means that the mic close enough in order to capture good sound, but far from enough from the actor’s mouth thereby preventing popping and sibilance.
5. For the group scenes, a mic with a boom is just excellent. The audiophiles have a real tough job that is to handle a boom for days together. But these professionals are trained for the same and are really passionate about it.
6. After the shoot and the recording of the sound done there simultaneously, these sounds are carried back to the studio. Here the film maker edits these sounds so as to match with the images. Unlike the olden days of film making, now the filmmakers have ‘the Non-Linear Systems to Edit the Non-Linear Sounds.’ Popularly this technology is known as the NLE – it enables you to move your sound clips back & forth within the video itself.
7. The sound tracks and sound effects add mood and life to the film. It is always advisable to create fresh music for the film rather than copying it from some where else. Using recorded music could lead to major legal hassles that would affix your film in the post production stage only.
8. Copyrighting laws are quite strict and violating them could cost you far too much to imagine. Remember, anything that belongs to another artist/s or their agent/s, that is if they have an ownership right to the music, no one can use the same without their written permission. There are some ways around this law but not as many and not that easy as well.
9. You can only use the music that is from the public domain. You can only use the music piece or image with no ownership attached to the same, that is there are no person/s or organization/s to claim the proprietary interest of that music or image.
10. To get original work it is always good to hire a professional. To go economical and work rather comfortable try working with a fresher or a friend who is talented enough to compose interesting soundtracks and effects. These days you shall find many budding composers & musicians in search of a chance to work for a film to expose their talent and art.

Most of the Misfits albums are now categorized under horror punk rock. If this is a bit foreign to you, it may be because it is a sub genre of sorts of which this band is widely considered a pioneer of. The group’s transition to its current enduring image however, was not a smooth or easy one.
The original band was the idea of Glenn Danzig who took the name from Marilyn Monroe’s last movie. The band’s first line up in 1977 was made up of Diane DiPiazza, Jimmy Battle and Manny Martinez. DiPiazza and Battle stayed only briefly and Jerry Caiafa, who is now more popularly known as Jerry Only, was recruited into the group. Only and Danzig are the only two members who stayed on with the band for long. To date, the group’s member roster has registered a total of 17 members. The quick line up changes are a definite indication of the band’s troubled history.
The band immediately started work on its first album Static Age on the same year of their founding. There were no record labels though willing to support the project. The band ended up releasing singles. It took two decades before Static Age could be released in full.
In 1978, the group began an image and style makeover that would eventually define the group for the rest of its career. Danzig began to craft more songs that were peppered by references to horror. Also, while performing on stage, band members began sporting horror themed appearances, the most pronounced of which is the devilock hair. From this time on, every succeeding Misfits album was put inside the horror punk box.
From 1978 to 1982, the band continued performing singles and recording tracks. It was however, only in 1982 when they managed to push out Walk Among US, the first full release that was in album form. On this same year, they launched their national tour. By 1983 however, the band was already in danger of taking the downward slope. Danzig lost interest and eventually announced the group’s break up. He went on to found Samhain which focused on heavy metal. Only went off to establish his own band, Kryst the Conqueror which was a Christian heavy metal band.
The Misfits were far from really over though. Fresh support and comments were coming out that other rising acts liked their music. This gave Only the idea of resurrecting the band. This led to a sticky legal battle that pitted him and Doyle, another former band member, against Danzig. It was eventually agreed upon outside of court that Only and Doyle could perform as the Misfits and use its logo. Merchandising rights however is to be shared with Danzig. The original founder showed no desire to continue performing with his former band mates.
The band was officially reborn under the leadership of Only but it went through more line up issues. By 2001, Only was the only member left with no prospect for a new Misfit album. Presently however, the official line up listed for the band also includes Dez Cadena and Julio “Robo” Valencia. Their most recent work together is the single Land of the Dead released in 2009.

This isn’t a self-righteous rant. This isn’t an industry insider hate-speech. This is just a normal person who chooses not to pirate movies telling you why. I run a blog called Club Columbia DVD. I love movies. Always have. They’ve had a huge influence on the way I live my life for better or worse.
But I’m also a human being. On the surface piracy makes sense. Why pay for watching a movie when you can just see it for free? Some people bring up how the economy is tight and the last thing they need to be spending money on is a bunch of overpriced DVDs. They have an image of corporate fat-cats grinning over their bank statements as the money just keeps rolling in.
While this may not be the whole picture- the entertainment industry employs a lot of people who aren’t fat-cats and do depend on movies doing well- that isn’t what I’m interested in. I told you, I’m selfish. People losing their jobs in Los Angeles and New York really doesn’t come into it when I decide not to pirate movies. I know it sounds mean but I really don’t care.
But this is also a good thing. The prosperity of an industry shouldn’t rely on people feeling sorry for its employees. Business can’t function like that for long. It’s good news that despite me not caring about the thousands of men and women who earn their living behind the scenes of films, off camera and without make-up I still choose not to pirate movies. So why is this?
The first is an issue of quality. When they make fun of pirate videos being interrupted by an old Russian woman getting up slowly and coughing while she gradually makes her way across the screen in the most important part of the movie, they weren’t kidding. While pirated movies are often accessible far before the official release date, the quality is more often than not horrendous.
I remember when Iron Man came out. I’d heard so many good things about it. I checked on a free streaming site and within two minutes I had given up. It was unwatchable. I was sure the movie was good, but I couldn’t quite tell. The resolution was terrible, the sound sucked- it was a complete waste of my time.
I waited a few days later and went to the cinema to see it. Perfect quality, an amazing experience. But I had to pay $6. Now for me this $6 dollars is worth it. If you don’t buy snacks at the cinema, it is actually a pretty cheap trip. Cinema’s make far more profit off popcorn than ticket sales- in fact you could say that movies are just an excuse to get people into the cinemas to buy food at an inflated price.
With this $6 I was paying for a quality experience. I was paying for someone being accountable to me if something went wrong. If the projector didn’t work, I would get my money back. The seats would be clean, the picture quality would be crisp and the sound would run smoothly.
When people talk about piracy they seem to think money is everything. Now money is important. But if you love films, watching movies is also important to you. There’s nothing like seeing a movie for the first time. I personally don’t want to have my first viewing ruined by the camera falling down half way through the movie. I value having a decent screening of a movie, and am more than willing to pay $6 to get that.
Pirated movies aren’t reliable and there’s no one to turn to if they don’t work. But most pirated videos are free, right? Wrong. While you don’t have to pay for most pirated films, you take on a risk.
Because of the questionable legality of pirate videos they often attract unreliable types. With this 1950s lingo I mean that with pirate videos you are often exposing yourself to tech-savvy people who want to scam you. Let’s face it. You’re pretty powerless against virus attacks against your computer. You may have some anti-virus software, but if you’re like me, you have no idea how it works. By using pirate and torrent sites you are exposing yourself to people who know a lot about computers. Think about it for a moment. What kind of people go into a cinema and film a movie illegally to make a profit? These ‘pirates’ aren’t wonderful underdogs who are being persecuted by the MPAA. These are not the kind of people you want to leave your wallet with.
Now I agree that MPAA making an example of college kids by suing them doesn’t help their cause. The values of my generation have changed from the last one. Many of my friends believe it is their right to watch films for free. The thing is that the internet is not anonymous. It isn’t anywhere near as anonymous as you’d like it to be. When you download and share a film, this information is then out of your control. I know most of you check out bizarre pornography at a moment’s notice without thinking about the future, but it’s worth a thought. Performing background checks on your behaviour on the internet is becoming easier than ever.
The government is moving in on piracy and with good reason. The MPAA has a powerful political lobby and its influence could shift things into a bad direction for people who use pirated films. The future is uncertain, but I’d rather not take the risk. If you choose to pirate films, that is then the price you pay. It’s a big or small risk depending on how you look at it.
In the end I prefer to pay a small amount of money and watch films legally. There are plenty of cheap options for renting movies. Blockbuster has a monthly subscription plan where you can watch as many movies as you want for about $20 a month. There’s the famous Netflix, and Columbia House is also a decent DVD service that offers cheap movies. Then there’s Amazon and a whole lot more. With the promotion of Blu-Ray, DVDs are becoming cheaper than ever. Just the other day I saw one of my favourite films, American Psycho, available for only $3.99!
On the internet there are a number of legal streaming sites. The main reason I watch the legal ones is that the quality is always excellent. Every day I watch The Daily Show and The Colbert Report on Comedy Central. It would make no sense to try torrent sites or spammy illegal streaming sites because they are available for free anyway. Adult Swim is also a hilarious site with adult cartoons. The internet is also good for watching documentaries. I go to freedocumentaries.org for example where they have at least a hundred top quality documentaries. If you’re a fan of South Park you should definitely stop off at southparkstudios.com With these sites you may have to watch a 30 second advert, but I just use this to get a drink, so no worries there.
Anyway, these are some of the reasons that I choose not to pirate movies. There are more, but I think you get the point. While the latest release of Tropic Thunder is probably at my finger tips, there’s no way I’m going to try and watch that on the internet. I saw it last week in the cinema and it was one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen. What would have happened if I tried to watch it with a tilted camera, Russian subtitles and an old Russian woman in front of the camera breathing loudly? It probably would have sucked.
If you love movies, don’t bother pirating them. It’s just not worth it.
